Featured vegetable
We will have a plentiful amount of cabbage this weekend. Eric recommends oiling and lightly salting individual cabbage leaves or thin wedges and then grilling them until tender. He loves the sweet and smoky flavor.
You can use grilled cabbage leaves in wraps. One example he provided was adding wild rice, grilled chicken, and tomato salsa to a grilled cabbage leaf.
Look for a post soon with Eric’s recipe for a Middle Eastern update of grilled coleslaw.
