Some of you know that Eric has been carving out time during the last year to work on a cookbook manuscript. The cookbook’s 125 seasonal recipes are meant to come together to tell the story of the Black Cat farm and restaurants. Inspired by Eric’s Boulder Farmers’ Market conversations with Black Cat farm customers, Eric also aims for his cookbook to help readers shop for and cook farmers’market produce.
While Eric has been writing, photoshoots centered around the food in the recipes, the farm, and the restaurants have been taking place to reflect the seasons for the recipes. They also document the farm at different times of the year.
This week Zagat, the famed restaurant guide, published an online interview with Eric that focuses on his cookbook (http://www.zagat.com/b/denver/black-cats-eric-skokan-saves-farm-writes-a-cookbook). So, now the world knows about the cookbook. Hello, world.
Expect more information about the currently untitled cookbook as the September publication date becomes closer.
