While the Boulder Farmers Market is finished for the year, there is one more choice to load up on Black Cat Farm produce, Mule Foot pork, and warm and wooly sheep pelts this weekend at the Winter Market. Plus, we will have Eric and his cookbook available just in time for the holiday gift-giving season. If you have enjoyed using the cookbook, consider extending that pleasure to other food lovers in your circle.
The Winter Market takes place tomorrow and Sunday, Dec. 5-6 from 9am-3pm at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont (9595 Nelson Rd, Longmont). It features 70 local food growers and producers and 60 Colorado artists whose wares include candles, jewelry, photography, letterpress cards, fiber arts and more.
The Black Cat Farm booth at the Winter Market will include the following produce on December 5-6, 2015:
- Arugula
- Carrots
- Collards
- Escarole
- Frisee
- Kale
- Lettuce mix
- Minutina
- Mustard greens
- Parsnips
- Radishes (black, watermelon)
- Squash (butternut, acorn, Tromboncino)
- Tatsoi
Mulefoot pork cuts, sheep pelts, and pig leather will also be available.
