After coming together weekly at the Boulder Farmers’ Market, we take a break for the winter after the final market of the year on November 23rd. Another year of weekly surprises of what would be available, depending on the vagaries of this year’s weather and the agricultural gods. It’s never the same and never gets old.
When contemplating this year’s final market, what came to Eric and Jill was: “a great big thank you….aptly timed the end of market and thanksgiving… to our customers who we will miss seeing this winter, staff who makes it all happen more expertly every year, our kids for making our dreams of having a family business come true more than ever this year, our fellow market vendors who we adore trading with and working alongside of each week.”
While the market will soon be finished, after mid-December, the Black Cat farm will have Mulefoot pig cuts and products that will be available for sale.
For more information on how to purchase Black Cat pork individually and other Black Cat farm news, sign up for the Black Cat email mailing list through the Black Cat Web site (https://blackcatboulder.com/about-us). (We are thinking of holding a mini-market next year that would include produce for sale.)
