New farmers market!
Starting tomorrow, June 4th, the Black Cat Farm will be at two farmers markets: the new Union Station market in Denver and the Boulder Farmers Market.
The Denver market will be located at the Union Station transportation hub in downtown Denver, 1701 Wynkoop street. It will be held every Saturday from 9am to 2pm through Oct. 22nd. Denver friends and Boulderites who want to cheer on the new market, join us for the grand opening festivities tomorrow. For more information about the Union Station market and its grand opening, see “More about the Union Station market,” located below today’s produce list.

More about the Union Station farmers market
The Boulder County Farmers Markets non-profit organization runs all of its markets as producer-only markets where local farmers and ranchers sell what they grow. The Union Station market will feature 40 local vendors, including 23 local farms selling fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, flour, honey and flowers. Other vendors include locally-made bread, gelato, cheese, preserves, pie, nut butter and prepared foods. For a full vendor list, visit www.bcfm.org/union-station-
Tomorrow’s Union Station market grand opening will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9am on the north side of the plaza (outdoors, in front of Snooze and Mercantile), marking the beginning of its inaugural year.
At the grand opening, the farmers market will offer vegetable tastings, Market Bucks giveaways and a chef demo with beast + bottle. The chef demo program will highlight a different local chef and seasonal produce each Saturday from 10 to 11am.
