We will be braving the rain and Boulder Creek Fest crowds tomorrow. A smaller version of the market, including the Black Cat Farm, will be open from 8am to 2pm.
C’mon down and say hi to Eric and Jill, then stroll through the Creek Fest, which opens at 10am. And if you just want to attend the market and beat the Creek Fest crowds, show up before 10am.
The Black Cat Farm booth at the Boulder Farmers’ Market will include the following produce on May 23, 2015:
- Arugula
- Baby fennel
- Baby kale
- Baby pak choi
- Celery tops
- Chrysanthemum greens
- Cilantro
- Frisee
- Mizuna
- Parsley
- Radish greens with flowers

- Salad mix
- Scallions
- Sorrel
Mulefoot pork cuts will also be available.
Radish greens with flowers
Last week, we had bunches of radish greens with white flowers attached. Many of you wondered what to do with them. Eric recommends that you removed the flowers, then stir fry the greens or use them in the same way that you use our other spicy greens. When you finish cooking the greens, sprinkle the flowers on top of dish.
Or, you could use the flowers in a salad.
