Farmers’ Market Corner for 10/10/15

The Black Cat Farm booth at the Boulder Farmers’ Market will include the following produce on October 10, 2015:

Flatirons Food Film Festival 2015 Postcard

The Flatirons Food Film Festival (Oct. 19-25)  is back again this month with an expanded offering of eight film programs at three locations, visiting speakers (Sandor Katz, chef Andy Ricker of the Pok Pok restaurants, two filmmakers), demos and tastings, film-related events, and online ticketing.

Topics include fermented food; school food reform; sushi; permaculture; and Thai, Jewish deli, and Chinese-American cuisines.

Eric will be speaking at the community gathering on school food reform in the Boulder area that closes the festival on Sunday, Oct. 25, 7pm at Muenzinger Auditorium on the CU-Boulder campus. Bramble and Hare will host a late-night pop up by Basta chefs on Saturday, Oct. 24, 11pm-1am after the festival screening of DELI MAN, a documentary about Jewish delis.
