The Black Cat Farm booth at the Boulder Farmers’ Market will include the following produce on June 7, 2014:

  • Baby Hinona Kabu, a Japanese turnip

  • Broccoli
  • Cilantro
  • Mild mustard mix
  • Leeks
  • Lettuce, Romaine, Red Sales, Tom Thumb
  • Mizuna
  • Perpetual spinach
  • Rapini
  • Spicy Asian greens mix
  • Spinach
  • Spring onions
  • Swiss chard, two varieties
  • Tatsoi
  • Turnips

Non-produce items available will consist of chicken eggs.

Featured vegetable

Eric particularly recommends the Romaine lettuce this week.  He says that it’s crisp, sweet, and delicious. At the Black Cat restaurant, they are substituting salt cod for anchovies in the dressing for Cesar salads. The end result is still Cesar salad but Cesar salad with a tasty twist!
