For the first time, the Black Cat Farm is participating in the Winter Market, the last market of the year. The Winter Market will take place on Dec. 6-7, 9am-3pm, at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall at 9595 Nelson Road in Longmont.
The Black Cat Farm booth at the Winter Market will include the following produce on December 6-7, 2014:
- Beets
- Carrots
- Celeriac
- Chervil
- Dried beans
- Endive
- Frisee
- Hinona Kabu, a Japanese turnip
- Lettuces
- Mache
- Parsley
- Parsnips
- Peppers, Jalapeno
- Perpetual spinach
- Sorrel
- Spinach
- Storing onions
- Turnips
After missing the last two markets, Eric will be present during the Winter Market. We will have plenty of copies of Eric’s cookbook, Farm Fork Food: A Year of Spectacular Recipes Inspired by Black Cat Farm, on hand if you would like to give one or more signed copies as holiday gifts.
Second cookbook celebration dinner
Just a reminder that we will be holding another cookbook celebration tasting dinner at Black Cat Farm-Table-Bistro this Monday, December 8th, 6:30pm . All dishes will be from Farm Fork Food. Eric will introduce each dish, share stories about the making of the cookbook, and answer questions. For those who attended the previous cookbook celebration dinner, the menu for this dinner will be mostly different than for the previous one.
Cost: $68 for Chef’s Tasting Menu (does not include alcohol, tax or gratuity). Cookbooks will be on sale and available for Eric to sign for $32.
