Farmers’ Market Corner for 10/22

Basil and beets and sorrel — oh my!

And much more “oh mying” Saturday at our farmers’ markets. We are offering so much swoon-worthy produce this week.

The list:

Lettuce mix, Tom Thumb, red winter lettuce, North Pole lettuce, Swiss chard, tat soi, purple pok choi, Genovese basil, purple basil, spinach, sorrel, Osaka purple mustard greens, mustard greens, purple kale, white kale, chard, radishes, broccoli, purple cabbage, beets, onions, peppers, eggplant, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, acorn squash. And yes — celery root!

This Saturday’s Union Station Farmers’ Market is the last of the season. What a pleasure talking food and farming with so many enthusiastic and savvy Denver farmers’ market customers.

Meanwhile, Boulder’s market continues well into November, and we will continue to showcase mountains of gorgeous produce until the last market.
